Hello everyone! Welcome to Jacob H. Ford Photography! As just stated, my name is Jacob

Ford. I've always enjoyed photography, and it has always been a side hobby of mine.

Back in October of 2022, I decided to take my photography to the next level and learn new techniques and what my camera is capable of to capture great shots! Right now, I use a Canon EOS Rebel T6 1300 D. It's a great camera and has awesome manual functions that allow me to adjust settings within my camera to capture great shots in all different lighting environments and weather conditions. 

Here you will find that I love to capture the beauty of the Monongahela Valley (often referred to as the "Mon Valley", sometimes even exploring around Pittsburgh, and fun places I vacation to through the lenses of my camera! I love exploring the different vantage points around the Mon Valley in all seasons, evenings and mornings, sunrises and sunsets, and as many perspectives as I can come up with. I've lived in the Mon Valley since June of 2022, after my wife and I got married. We moved to Monongahela, PA which is about 17 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.  

As my photography career grows and develops, I also plan to upload portfolios of other beautiful places I visit through family vacations that my wife and will take in the future with our families. I find much joy in capturing and exploring God's world around me through the lens of my camera, but there's something special about the Mon Valley that I especially enjoy capturing! I hope that my photography can be a blessing to you, and I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolios. I am thankful for this gift of photography that God has blessed me with, and I am also thankful for my wonderful wife Sydney who supports me in my photography endeavors.
